Why do people meditate? Stress management and relaxation, health issues, personal development, or spiritual curiosity are all frequently reported reasons. Some practice meditation occasionally, but those who continue to meditate throughout life have experienced that meditation contributes with something valuable. Not all these experiences are reported in medical studies. Nevertheless, it is interesting to look closer at recent scientific research on the effects of meditation on bodily and mental health.
Three presentations will be given in this webinar:
An overview of medical research on Acem-meditation
Stress and meditation among youth and students
Meditation effects on anxiety and depression
